Planes Industrial Evolution Wallpaper
Industrial evolution is a tribute to human achievements. We believe in people (especially the very young), we believe in abilities, wisdom and heart. This collection shows how much we have achieved, that we have come a long way but that we still have a lot to do. That's why you'll find the first planes and cars here, a revolutionary invention of the steam train, factories and mills. But also a turn towards the future: rockets, a futuristic green city, windmills and cars that will no longer pollute the air.
Airplanes size: about 22 cm x 12 cm
The wallpaper is divided into bands:
Height: 280cm
Width: 50 cm
The price is equivalent to a range.
These strips fit all standard heights as they are an extra 20cm long so you can cut to the height of your wall. Ordering wallpaper in strips is faster and simpler. Simply measure the wall and order the number of strips you need.
The narrow strips of wallpaper ensure that the wallpaper will fit almost perfectly to the width of the wall. Furthermore, the repetitive pattern, where each of the stripes appears identical, allows the elements of the pattern to be arranged on the wall flawlessly once the wallpaper is pasted from the ceiling. Thanks to this, there is very little excess material.
HISTORY OF THE AIRPLANES PRESENTED ON THE WALLPAPER:
1. Wright Brothers Flyer - it was in North Carolina in 1903 that this invention flew 36m in 12 seconds! First plane heavier than the air plane that flew like a wind!
2. Curtiss P-40 with a shark mouth, from the first half of the 1930s. One of the main American military aircraft of the Second World War (Pearl Harbor) and... a Hollywood star! This plane was flown (in movies) by John Wayne or... the future president of the United States, Ronald Reagan!
3. Silver-blue Helldiver, also called "The Beast", from the same time period. The first to dive and rise again in seconds.
4. Douglas with an arrow. Passenger planes first built in the 1930s. Transatlantic commercial planes that could carry 20 to 60 people, a real game changer!
5. Big, wonderful planes like Airbus and Boeing. The largest can accommodate 850 passengers and travel at almost 1000 km/h (equivalent to 3 football fields in a second!)
6. Supersonic flights mean that the plane travels at speeds greater than the speed of sound. The speed of sound is about 1200 km/h and these planes could travel 2100 km/h (about 3.5 hours from Europe to New York!). The last plane of this type flew in 2003, but there is a great possibility that in 2027-2030 we will see new planes!
